Kamadhenu, also recognized as Surabhi, is a sacred bovine goddess mentioned in Hinduism as the progenitor of all cows. Represented as a miraculous “cow of abundance,” she fulfills the desires of her possessor and is frequently depicted as the maternal figure not only for other cattle but also for the eleven Rudras. In artistic representations, she is commonly portrayed as a white cow with a female head and breasts, or as a white cow encompassing various deities within her form. In Hinduism, all cows are revered as earthly manifestations of Kamadhenu.
